"Miss Jane Bennet" Art Doll Figure
Inspired by Jane Austen's timeless classic, "Pride and Prejudice", this adorable cloth figurative sculpture represents the kind and gentle loveliness of the eldest Miss Bennet. It's easy to believe she captivated the affections of Mr. Bingley. This figure has a sweet hand painted face with a serene expression, pretty yarn hair, and has beading, buttons, embroidery and embellishments over her vintage upholstery fabric body. Many of her sparkling beads are vintage glass and pearls. Her headdress is a collection of paper and ribbon roses, and her skirt is broderie anglaise lace in tiers. She carries custom charms including a little umbrella. If only she had remembered that when she rode to Netherfield.
"My dear Jane!" exclaimed Elizabeth, "you are too good. Your sweetness and distinteredness are really angelic; I do not know what to say to you. I feel as if I had never done you justice, or loved you as you deserve." ~ Eliza Bennet
She stands 12 inches tall and comes with her own custom stand, on which she is held with a straight pin.
